Russell & Erwin doorknob set made June3/1879 with everything. Called flying crane dont know value but paid 2.00. any one have any idea about what it is worth?

I knew that, but every where I look on the internet has repros for sale or if they have real ones wont give me a price. so thought maybe someone here might give me a ball park figure.
I went to that web site you suggested and I did get a reply ...if I wanted to sell then they would look at it and when I stated that I did not want to sell just find out what it is worth...no reply, thanks for your help I will keep on looking

They are only worth what someone is willing to pay. Sell on Ebay and you'll find out. I'd guess $200 minimum each knob. The antique websites usually advertise unrealistic prices.
GOD I wish I live in the Late Victorian period. EVERYTHING was beautiful. Even the most mundane things were objects of beauty.
One door knob is worth 800.00 having both knobs lock and plates u r look at 3500+ that is one of the rarest door knob hardware made by Russell and Edwin
