This is part of My Marx train collection. I have three Marx Postwar 1669 100 Watts transformers in great condition. all slightly different.
The first has 2 decals. A green one and a red and yellow UL decal.
The second one has a just a Yellow and red UL decal.
The third one has the same decal as the second one but unlike the first two has a silver handle. Most of the Marx transformers don't have silver handles anymore it's getting rare for them to still have silver handles.
Our sweaty skin turns the silver handles gray. our sweat is bad for the Marx Transformers handles.
I Paid $5.00 each for theses Marx 1669 Transformers.
I got all of them from different places. at different times
Two of them I got cheep because they needed to be recorded.
I record transformers and old stuff all the time. so it's a easy fix for me.
two are recorded and one has a good original cord.
all are in working order.
This is one of Marx's best transformers, they work great. and operate smoothly. they were made in the mid to late 1950's.
This transformer also came in a Allsate version.
