    Found this in my Grandfather's tackle box. All brass. Goes up to 25 lbs. Hope I bring in a Muskie that big some day.

      Just be careful if you use it. The spring will be more brittle and the scale less accurate than when new.

      Thanks SpiritBear. Actually, I don't really intend on using it. I've not tried to see how accurate it is. Since it is such a neat looking piece, I'm just going to put it on a display shelf with some other tools.

      Old fishing gear is awesome I've been looking for a straw creole in good shape for a while.

      Thanks Caperkid. I love old fishing gear too. I have a number of old reels as well as the scale. Working on a display for all of them.
