Lloyd C. Douglas was a writer who had two of his
works made into movies, long ago. This is his
    autographed letter.
His "Magnificent Obsession", and "The Robe"
were both excellent novels, and "the Robe" was
    quite a good movie.

He wrote from about 1915 to about 1949.

I have both movies on original VHS tapes in my collection.I hvaen't seen them in about 20 years, and I only have memory of "Magnificant Obsession" because of the stars..Rock Hudson and Jane Wyman. It was a very emotional movie and I cried--I remember that. Douglass was a really wonderful author. So well respected!!
Thanks for sharing the 1930 letter. Lois.

Years ago I read my first L.C. Douglas book, and I loved it and in time
I haunted used book stores and yard sales for more. I read about ten of
them and his books are quite good. Still have them in my bookcase today.
