Bronze duck

Recently came across this guy and couldn't resist is incredibly heavy anyways at least 10 pounds but it could be a bit more than that, he's almost a foot long and a perfect example of the well fed duck. The lady I purchased them from claimed she got them at an antique store years back and was told he was cast-iron but he doesn't look cast-iron to me he doesn't feel cast-iron he doesn't smell cast-iron he looks similar to other things I've seen that are bronze in the way that they age so I'm not quite sure what he is made of. There are no real identifying marks it would give any idea as to where he came from. I have several duck decoys that have been in my family for quite some time and so I thought he would be a great addition to our bookshelf duck family but I'd like to know more about him if anybody has any ideas please share.
