Chinese vase of Guan Yin?

Have this wonderful Chinese Vase bought at a sale, and the symbols I was told may mean Diety of thought? Artist signed which I think is by Ma, Shou Shik. The red back stamp is no wear to be found. If this is Guan Yin-Kwan Yin a Bodhisattva it makes no sense since this vase shows her holding a red bud instead of the usual willow. There is a Dove in the Sky-which I dont understand the relationship. I haven't found any Vase even close to this. Any help identifying it would be so appreciated. Thank you in advance.
