I was buying opportunity this beautiful antique 18K rose gold seed pearl frame (with broken lava cameo, see last photo) for a very favorable price. Acid tested for 18K (see photo 3) and one mark but not to decote.
I want to replace this broken lave cameo by a micro mosaic plaque or still more difficult cast iron plaque. The fitting size for this "new"plaque has to be: 1.5 x 1.1" (3.7 x 2.7 cm.) Preferably a very old floral pattern or cameo /building because the image must be able to be worn in the longitudinal.
Who has a plaque of this size or one of you has an idea where I might find this ??

It`s not for me to judge but I would reconsider micro-mosaic within this frame with pearls (aesthetically). I have seen your impressive collection of micro-mosaic; how many with pearls ? None. Nice shell cameo is much easier to find to fit the frame, even if minimum of filing the edges is needed. Besides, I doubt you can find perfectly matching micro-mosaic. That`s what I think.
IVAN49, you are right but the most time I usually go off on my own taste. So if I find myself beautiful. In this special case must find a fitting plaque and than I will also look here what I like. But indeed micro mosaic you will not see in such frames. In any case thanks for your relevant comments.
