Wonderful old found dresser with hand mortised drawers. Date? Looks like different kinds of wood were used. Picked it up from the side of the road in Marin County California. First image is how I found it, The rest are my ideas.

WOW you sure stripped it, well below the patina. Primary and secondary woods all look like softwood just different grades for the two. The joints don't show well but they are not mortise they are dovetail and appear to be machine cut. I would guess probably 1950 give or take either way a few years.

From my experience I would say your dresser dates to second half of the 19th century. I would base this on the patina and construction of the back panels, the dovetail drawers, and the Victorian design elements like stepped out top drawer and molding designs on the drawer fronts. Also the skeleton key, keyholes and locks. The drawer knobs have been replaced at some point. If I could physically inspect it I would be looking at the nails holding the back pales in place. probably square. Also inspecting the dovetails closer, and looking at the inside construction. Hope this helps. And welcome to Collectors Weekly show and tell forum.
