Cant figure this one out for sure! At first glance I thought it was a desk...then the mire i look Im not so sure. The top part inside the wood outside frame, the pinkish material is soft, sort of like felt maybe??? And the drawers are not set up like a desk would be. So i started thinking maybe a Buffet table of sorts, but then you wouldn't be able to see the ornate back. There are 3 panels and each one has a painting if someone. It is 79"L X 31 1/2"W X 30"H and ots all solid wood.

It is a double pedestal desk. If there were a knee hole in the back side it would be called a partner desk. You can find them with google the more high grade ones had a leather top. You only show what catches your eye and not the actual construction. From one picture it appears to be made of full dimension stock which is unusual in today's throw away world.

The kind of desk which you would have your armchairs for guests in front of the panels. The panels are faux painted empire bronze hardware probably.

Thank you both for some clarity! I just wasn't sure exactly what it was. I had the opportunity to clean out 5 buildings that belonged to an Auction House here in KC Ks. It was called Manion's Auction House and this was one of the things that caught my eye. I will take more pics so you can see the construction.
