A saw set made for saws by Keen Kutter. This is probably from the 30s. It has the "Saw tooth in plank" logo and doesn't seem to be rare, but not common either.

This is a "saw set" for bending (setting) the blade's teeth, alternately right & left, so that the width of the cut (kerf) is wider than the thickness of the blade; thereby the teeth clean out the chips as they cut and the blade doesn't bind while sawing.

Thanks UncleRon! I had a feeling this had something to do with saws
