This Hotpoint range timer was made by General Electric and incorporates a Telechron movement. Marketed ca. the mid 1930s, it is model 3T20/TM-21. The skyscraper-styled black Bakelite case features subtly stepped shoulders and base. Instead of a sweep second hand, this timer has a rotating disk to indicate seconds. It would have originally been plugged into a vintage range to control the oven. Dial has two small inset timer set dials, one for 'On,’ another for 'Off', that rotate as well. This timer measures about 5½" H x 4 ½” W x 2 ½” D.

What is the value of this item?

Prices can vary widely on these, depending on condition/functionality, amount of rancid 70 yr. old kitchen grease adhered to it, etc. Generally $10 to $100+

I have a question. Does the Hotpoint timer run as a standard clock?
      Thanks!

Since they have an obsolete three prong plug, they need to be rewired to function just as a clock. I've seen one or two adapted for use as household timers with the addition of an outlet attached second cord. A little awkward looking maybe, but at least they're retaining the timer function.
