I purchased these chairs a little over a year ago. I Stripped and sanded for longer than I will admit and then added a wiped on stain. The cousions where in bad shape and had to be replaced before my husband would allow them in the house, so I purchased new ones. I paid $40.00 for the chairs, the cousins were $100 and my many hours stripping too much $$. But I am so happy with how the turned out I would do it all over again.
