Hi, we found this in our grandmas loft but have no idea what it is! First thoughts was a polar bear or other bear? It's in bad condition, just curious about what it actually is!

      A white wolf I think.

If it was a wolf, it's been altered or is far from pure. I've never seen a wolf like that in my ten years of being with them. Maybe it's just the bad job on the nose and eyes, and too much fluffing. But it looks strange.
As for bear, the ears are all wrong.

Maybe just a really old wolf, Phil.

Thank you everyone, never considered a wolf but it could be, it's a pretty poor job definitely, and the sides of the head are really stuffed full so that's probably distorting it.

      It's an April Fool's Bear.

Sent photos to a few taxidermists, both say it's not a real animal and just something someone has made up so to speak. However the fur does appear real, so who knows what's happened here!

I fear it was Grandma's favorite dog, possibly a Samoyed. Stuffing a deceased pet was not unheard of in the Victorian era.
