If you visit the Welz décor section of www.kralik-glass.com you will find three décors in a row called, Oxblood and Blue, Oxblood and Green and Oxblood and Beige. You can see examples of each one in image four.

None of these are common but the Oxblood and Beige is the most elusive of all. In fact, having checked with Craig, so far it has only been found on this shape.
UPDATE.....see comment 7 where LOUMANAL has posted a link to another shape in this décor.

These décors are interesting in the way they are made. Each has a spatter of oxblood and white sandwiched between two layers of translucent blue, green or amber glass. The effect on the spatter colours varies considerably, according to the thickness of the casing layers.

I love oxblood among other colours.I think it adds more refinement to the items

What an interesting comment Ivonne. Is it a purely personal view, or is it more a geographical/cultural thing perhaps?
    12. Ivonne Ivonne, 8 years ago
It's my personal view.I think it's a "difficult " colour to accept because it's solemn but not cheerful, relatively rare and using it invovlves a higher layer of...receptivity(?)

I think it’s great the way you catalogue them - based on technique and supplies

Hello. Ivonne, I've only just noticed this comment as I'm editing all my Welz posts in the light of further knowledge. I don't recognise 'receptivity' in this sense but perhaps 'aesthetic sensitivity'? I understand the difficulty and frustrations of nuances in a second language only too well. I think I get what you mean and think your English is excellent.

Thank you Jericho, I've learnt so much here I like to share what I learn from seeing the glass close up. I've only just noticed your comment too!
