Here is a Garfield the cat authentic Lava Lamp in very good working condition. The lamp is a genuine Lava Lite with its original Garfield base and bulb (well DUH!) that can be dimmed by a cord dimmer switch and original lamp with its purple goo that still makes big and little floating bubbles. It is complete along with the purple cat's claw cover for the lamp. This makes for a nice conversation piece and an interesting lamp at the same time. We can only wonder what Garfield might be thinking with that lamp on his head?! He is cute to look at and admire. He was a nice pickup at a local thrift store.

Nice globular illumination
I got the Garfield lava lamp base and found a lava lamp that would fit, same color as well. I was about to buy it when the seller informed me he’s no expert and it it’s not compatible with the base it might explode! Anyone have any idea what are the specs I need to look for for compatibility ? Thanks ??
