My grade school lunchbox

I still have my first lunch box from grade school. It is the Disney - Davy Crockett/Kit Carson box and is in fairly good condition although missing the thermos. I understand that this box cost the manufacturer their license with Disney because the Kit Carson side was not authorized. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about the trademark on the top of the box by the handle that says "an official Disneyland product". I have seen these for sale on Ebay and one thing I have noticed is that when mine is lying with the lid on top, the trademark is upside down and most but not all of the ones I've seen, it is right side up. At first, I thought that maybe the top and bottom may have been put on the wrong sides of the box but the trademark is always under the handle when the lid is facing up. Only the printed trademark is upside down. If anyone has any information about this I would love to hear from you.
