kralik1928
(202 items)
I remember the early years of Late-period Kralik (way back in 1995). There were opaque decorated pieces, flashed iridescent pieces, flames and Marquetry, caged pieces and glue chip and crackled pieces.
I assume there were many factory names for these decors (as apposed to collector names). One of the earliest was "Iris. I assume Iris means the special iridescent finish these pieces were found with. There are pieces with this Iris surface (flash iridescent) that have not yet been found with an Iris sticker; that is why I will call them "Iris variation" decors . To this day I am only aware of three the course with the iris sticker. In the future I will be highlighting Iris variations that I've never appeared with a sticker. I will only cover a few of them as there are over 40 or more that exist.
1. Confetti polka dots
2. Close up of black and yellow clusters of confetti over a solid opaque tango base color
3. Dots on confetti
4. Close up of random "dots" of opaque glass chips over smaller bits of confetti glass
