30 Euros would seem like a steal for solid wood furniture, but without more detailed photo's or info about the maker they would be hard to identify.

Try removing the fabric on the bottom of the cushion and look for a makers stamp on the seat frame.

They are possibly Louis xvi style chairs circa 1750-1800. As for a date they could have been produced much later then in their heyday.
How to spot a Louis XVI chair: Seat backs are oval or shield-shaped
      Chair legs are typically straight
Chair legs also often reflect references to columns, like fluted or ribbon-twist carvings.
As for the maker: steve85018 has given you great advice on where to locate the maker. Then you can google and date them.

Oooh... Not Louis anything at all :-D
These are around 1925/1930! The motifs carved are typical.
I had one too, with no marks and cannage seat.
I'm French, and can bet they are French too ;-))
30€ for six is well done, you will only have to add the re-do cost.

      Welcome to CW!

Thanks kyratango. I was guessing they were copied from the Louis xvi style. Always good to learn something new.

Kyratango.... you may be French but your doggie is most deffinitely German. Just like mine!

The straight back chairs are great find as they are almost always pre 1930. That was a great buy.

      Roddyq, you're welcome :-)

Steve85018, nope! He is a french pointer mix, mother is a braque d'Auvergne, and his twin sister is black, yours is a true short hair German pointer :-)
