Perfect for splicing together those old home movies but still once again no information on this model. Well actually not much information as I found this is a dry splicer. I think that means it is a splicer that uses tape. Back when I was 19-20 I work at the AV department of a Community College and I spliced/repaired a lot of film. There was a hot splicer and a tape splicer and I far preferred the tape splicer. The tape splicer would also repair damaged sprocket holes.
Also there were video tape players which were quite large. We worked on the ground breaking technology of transferring film to video tape.
Anyway I was just vamping as I am not sure when this was made. It is cast iron so it is fairly early.
The base of the case has tiny bits of film in it .
