Pictured here is a pint salesman sample "Weldedwire Hood Seal Protection" milk bottle. Instead of using a cardboard disk to seal milk bottles, this company introduced a different option for sealing the tops of milk bottles.
This bottle was painted white inside to give the appearance of milk. Regretfully there is inner paint flaking from age. A highly collectible example regardless.
The original hood seal is shown in the fourth picture.
