Gift from Ray and Charles Eames

I was given this chair in the 60's from a friend of Ray and Charles Eames. I have seen other circa mid-century chairs but many have cushions or partial cushions. I am wondering if they produced chairs without the cushion or if I just received this one without it. I would also like to know where I could get an appraisal for this chair.
