I don't know anything other than these are beautiful large egg cups with tops. I loved the pattern but I don't know what it is called...that is what attracted me when I bought them at a yard sale. The bottom base is about two inches across. The total height is 5 inches, and the width across the open egg cup is just about 2 and a half inches. The pattern looks like a sconce with petals or leaves and there are dots around also. Can anyone tell me the name of this pattern

Thank you Thomas..I did figure they were old...I didn't realize that the pattern was depression glass. I thought it would have a special name but at least I know more than I did...and they still make me happy...no depression here lol

looks like Avon and contained scented candles.

Thanks for your comment..Avon stamps the brand logo on their items...and there are no marks...I am more inclined to believe they are old egg cups. They are beautiful what ever they are

it's not unusual for mark to become worn on the mold. Here's an example with paperwork:

Thank you for the link...certainly looks the same...although there is no wear on mine where the band would have been wore off...but thanks again..it probably is Avon...I do have other Avon collectibles...they all say Avon... but these will fit in
