Very Early German Black Man Squeek Toy

I recently found this toy at a local antique store. I had never been to this place before. It was sitting in a glass case amongst much clutter, but this piece stood out. The owner did not know what it was. It was on sale with 30% off bringing the price to $86.00.

I had only seen a couple of these in all my years of collecting. It was probably made sometime between 1915 and 1925. This is a German made squeek toy. When you push on his chest he brings his hat up to his head. Unfortunately it does not squeek any longer because the delicate paper bellows have deteriorated. With a slight adjustment of the spring in his chest, and his arm, I was able to get him to work once again. He stands 10" tall, and holds a delicate bouquet of paper flowers in his left hand.
