One more RESIST button from 1970 - 1971 The other three shown in the 2nd image were in a prior post however as I made a new scan for insurance I decided to add it, 1 1/2 diameter with Larry Fox credit on curl he was "The Original Button man" who made buttons for SDS SMC and many many others from 1963 to c1984
This symbol is being used once again in 2017
The Resist, Resistance AKA Omega symbol came from the Ohm resistance.
I still like the "Resist in Peace" button the best albeit it was not originally a Peace sign but the flag signal (the international semaphore alphabet) for N and D standing for Nuclear Disarmament
made by Bertrand Russell in 1958 for his group C.N.D. = Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament who used it on signs and banners during the 1958 Easter weekend protest march from London to Aldermaston

Thanks ho2cultcha I haven't been writing as much of the history lately as much of it I wrote in older posts however I will start again because not everyone has seen the old post and/or has no clue what SMC, SDS or NPAC Ect. stand for, So yeah I will re-start, And Thanks for the Love much appreciated
