Murano cobalt and vaseline ashtrays

A pair of similarly designed Murano glass ashtrays - one cobalt blue, the other, a UV-reactive yellow-green. The blue one is 6 1/2" (16.5 cm) at the tallest point, 4" (10.2 cm) by 3" (7.6 cm) wide; the yellow-green is 4 1/2" (11.5 cm) tall, 7" (17.8 cm) by 2 1/2" (6.4 cm) wide. Both have flat polished undersides, one holding the remnants of a generic "Made in Italy" label.

That ashtrays can also be things of beauty is, to me, a source of amusement.
