This is a new in the box never been opened bottle of Eagle Rare from the 1970's. 101 proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Does anyone know what it might be worth?

It really depends. These old decanters are notorious for having the cork go bad and break off. If that happened, some or all of the contents could have evaporated by now. Do you know if the cork is still good and intact? Does the bottle seem full? I do collect stuff like this. A lot of whiskey collectors are hesitant to drink the contents due to fear of lead contamination from the paint that was used on them. Feel free to email me if you have additional questions (sethpbrown at gmail . com). I'd be happy to help.
