Could I get some information on my lamp please? It is amber glass with Grecian key design, 45cm tall. It has SUN on the collar with a bell like emblem underneath the word..see photos. Immaculate condition.

It looks like amber iridescent flashing that is wearing off and the collar is not a N. American one. I know that this Greek Key pattern lamp has been reproduced but I can't say for sure that this lamp is new. Someone will chip in, I'm sure. Bob

It belonged to my Mum and my Grandmother before her....it's definately amber glass and quite dark too...I took it under very bright lights...I will post another pic for you

Looks truly amber now with your new photos. Has the collar been replaced or was this lamp purchased overseas?

My Mum said it belonged to her Mother and that she had it as long as she remembers....My Mum is 83...As far as I know It is original.

My great Grandmother and Great Grandfather migrated to Australia from England if that helps.

Yes it does, especially because of that unusual collar that the burner screws in. It is indeed a nice lamp. The Greek Key design on lamps was used on many USLamps and European/ English lamps. Bob

Thanks Bob...any idea of age? Can I take a better pic for you on a different angle perhaps? Does the make and emblem give an idea?

Early 1900's to 1930 would be my best guess. I don't know anything about your SUN burner. Bob
