Found buried in my great great grandparents backyard

Not trying to sell but need some info. The soldier was found buried in the backyard of the owner of a house my great great parents lived in. It's a long shot..I thought this may go back over 100 years to ww 1. A gift perhaps from the military to the parents? Or just a child's toy. They had 2 sons who both died in 1917 on Vimy Ridge 3 days apart. The soldier looks well worn

In any case, these people have been gone a long time. Died in the early 30s. I'm sure this house has seen it's share of families since it was built in 1911. My relatives built the house on land that was developed from farmland in Calgary. They emigrated from Australia with their 6 grown kids including the sons who died overseas in the War.
