I bought this at an antique store 2 years ago because I thought it was so unusual and fell in love with it. It's a 2 piece secretary/ slant top desk totally covered inside and out with walnut veneer. It has 13 drawers on top which increase in size vertically and a cupboard. The desk has 2 serpintine drawers with manual pulls. The hardware looks orginal and is attached with very unusual cotter pins. The drawer dovetails are very slim and vary in number with the size of the drawer. It stands 75" high.

I love being right when I'm looking for something. The legs looked early American or English (yeah!) Anyway this should put you in the right direction.

Well heck that is yours hahaha. Anyway they are right. French have the more delicate legs.
