    a friend gave this to me the other day. i assume that it is a 'toad house' or a place where a toad can rest during the daytime. it's very nicely made - particularly the glaze - both inside and out, but not signed. probably pretty new too.

    i'm going to assume that it's California Pottery, but i really don't know.
