ELVIN, a impulsive youth of the era--went to a doings at his aunts house. Apparently bored, or on the prowl for something else to do, ducked out of Auntie's with his cousin, without notice.
He was later prompted to send a card of explanation why he left with his cousin and writes "You know there is no place like home"! Oh come on' Auntie and I both know better. I love his hat. he looks really "cool"!

I looked at men's hats 1910, and Elvin is wearing a sort of oddball hat and tipped in a jaunty way as is it may be saying----"I'm game! Try me"!

Thanks eye4beauty. Elvin had a very fancy way with his handwriting, so it is good to see it plainly!! I'd like to know more of Elvin--Well we know his aunts address, Too bad she is no longer here, I'll bet she had some good stories about him!

valentino97--You say " he had to pick up something illegal"...What about a" lady of the evening"??
