These are real photo postcards and the liitle girl is c. 1906 (undivided back AZO card) The Little boy is somewhere in time near the same date (but it is a divided back AZO Card)
I have to wonder what kind of a Pom-Pom hat the little boy is wearing. maybe it has some meaning in the African-American heritage? (Celebrating a special day, or maybe even his birthday.) As he is in all white, possibly a Church function?
Both of these kids are exceptionally good looking! Unsent no message on back. Vintage Real Photo postcards in my collection
Both are sepia photos, maybe they will show they are--or not.
Sometimes my sepia photos reproduce black and white.
Thanks nutsabotas6,
The way her hands look, I think she may have some candy pickin' going on!
Any clue why the black boy wears a hat like that! Soooo odd for a boy!
I'm wondering if he is not something like Italian heritage Lois and this is a take on a traditional feather hat. Just an idea.
He could be from India or the Phillippines, Hawaiian? The hat might be the clue. He is very attractive wherever he hails from!
