Victorian ruby glass mug with applied flower

This Victorian glass mug is made from ruby glass with an embossed thumbprint type pattern. It measures 11 cm tall, 6.4 cm across the cut & polished top rim, & 5.5 cm across the base, which does not have a pontil mark. The mug features an applied handle in amber glass, & an applied amber leaf trail & flower, which has a dark blue centre. The flower has a fine lattice type pattern embossed on the petals. I acquired this some time ago in a of a lot of two items - the other being a Peloton glass tumbler. Purchased from the USA, but I am uncertain of it's origin.
