This piece was given to me from my mother who was born in Windsor England in 1925. I am trying to find out more about the artist signature on bottom of piece, her name is "Bess Workman" and she has dated it 1912. If anyone has other pieces signed by this artist, I would enjoy knowing more. The bottom of this piece also has letters J.P. L. France on it. Thanks

JPL France Mark - (Porcelain, France) The JPL France Mark is from the Jean Pouyat Porcelain Factory. Jean Pouyat came from a Family that had been involved in one way or another in the Porcelain business since the 1760’s. He started his factory in 1842.

I cannot find a reference about Bess though, happy hunting!
