Leixus french glass egg

I have had this little egg for a while and don't remember exactly where I got it from, probably at a yard sale. I think I read that these were from France, it is marked Leixus and the artist is J Machalek. This is a neat piece that has a flat clear front and a frosted back. Inside is a little green decoration.
