Found this pretty little piece in Baton Rouge. Paid 5 dollars. This is what I found on the web:
Carl Thieme of Potschappel, Germany founded today’s Saxon Porcelain Manufactory in Potschappel in the year 1872. On September 17th 1872 he began with the production of decorative porcelain and man-made porcelain.
