From the codes on the bottom, your bottle was made in Streator Ill(9) in 1940(0).
Thank you!!
Now I know where the bottle came from. Where was the Ginger Ale bottled and why can't I find similarly printed bottles?
Canada Dry had many different flavors, your bottle may have had ginger ale or something else. The bottle cap would have defined which flavor it was. Your bottle would have been filled by the bottling plant in New York as depicted on the print. If it were bottled elsewhere the print would usually read "Bottled under the authority of Canada Dry Ginger Ale" or in the bottles I have there is no mention of where they where bottled. A lot of times the bottler would have been identified on the cap. I assume mine were bottled by a local bottling company.
Your bottle is in very nice condition being dated at 1940. I have been collecting for many years and have not seen your version with the green print. May just be a hard to find version.
How would I determine worth? Or market this bottle?
