Flea market find as usual, I originally bought this as a necklace, only at home it occured that it is actually a necklace and a bracelet. the beads are very interesting, I would say glass, but they look like there is some additional layer of paint.
The beads are similar to the necklace that Mochairou posted:

What do you think? Czechoslovakia maybe?
I am not sure what age are they.. my guess is 1970s.
I agree, it was made to look like agate, only its not that good :))
Wow! they do look very similar! Even the little caps on ends of beads are similar! In mine though, it looks like the beads have metal tubing running through (if that is possible). Mine is also tightly strung with metal. How about yours? Are the beads translucent or opaque? Its hard to say for sure with the pictures.
Opaque, Mochairou, and strung with metal
I really think it's same style, origin, era and even possibly maker? Our necklaces are definitely cousins, if not siblings :)
Might be. I like yours more though. The color of my set is very dull imho.
I am not sure about the age. Maybe someone here can help.
There is so much I have to learn!
Looks like 1970-ish to me, too.
Thank you, Efesgirl! As always.
I agree with Valentino they look like banded agate imitations. Nice idea. Compare with my agate necklace made of stone.
Compare it with my agate necklace in this post. I think your nice glass necklace was made to look like banded agate. What do you think? I love what they could do with glass.

Thank you Elisabethan, I really like your necklace!
