So this brooch is damaged but it was so amazing I bought it to bring home anyway. It is a silver setting with a glass base inset with the tiniest cane flowers I've ever seen. To give you an idea how tiny, the brooch is 1" top to bottom and the floral centerpiece 1/2". The canes are perfect, one would almost have to say Italian made glass. As for the damage, the red glass base is cracked in three places, and the clasp on the back is bent and broken. I know some of you collect micro mosiac, I thought you would like to see this brooch, especially Agram.m., whose collection of micro mosiac is breathtaking. Thanks for looking.
