Here is a Carl Eickhorn fixed blade knife. It is marked Carl Eickhorn Solingen, Ges. Geschützt. I believe it was made around 1933-1935 form the research I have done. Not sure if that is the correct color of the tang, bolster and butt and it look like someone has taken a wheel to the blade. It did not have a grip when I got it. The 4th photo is a picture of the mark on the blade. If anyone has anything to add I would appreciate the information.
Thanks!!!!
Thanks brunswick and officialfuel !!!!
It sure has had a rough life. Actually Eickhorn has been in business since the mid-1800's but this trademark was used from 1921-1972.
Thanks blunderbuss2 for the comment. Yes it does look like it has had a rough life. There is no telling where it has been! You are correct on the time Eickhorn has been in business. I found that there are 9 different variations of that particular mark as they did change through the years. It was used between 1933 to 1935 as far as I can tell. See the link below to see the different Trademarks.

I like the one from 1941-42 where the squirrel is looking over it's shoulder, Like: Wha happened ?
Yes He looks sneaky in that one!!
this is a natzi boy scout knife from the 1st yrs of ww2 .
the grinding you see was the removal of the blood and honor logo.
the grips would've had the swastika imbedded in gold. its been removed . I have 2 that are very similar. apparently , it was so well built that destruction or removal of the grip plate was the only way to remove the emblem. ive viewed 100s of them and the attempts to remove the emblem have almost always ended up in the grips removal or destruction of both the emblem and grip plate.
1 like yours with that emblem will surely demand a very very high premium.
these items were often destroyed by owners that totally despised the hitler era .
guess id been glad to destroy them too had my adolescent son been harmed or killed at hitlers expense.
thanks for posting it .
Thanks fortapache !!!
Thanks whyatt I thought that's what it might be. Appreciate the information...
