Hi CW Gang ~
Found these as I was going through some papers here. Everyone had a crush on KEITH PARTRIDGE of the TV show " The Partridge Family." Back in the 1970's, I had joined the DAVID CASSIDY -- FAN Club. I would get some things from the fan club. These are 3 photos that I got from that DC Fan club. I never got to ever see him perform on a stage or anything, so to get pic was a honor for me....lol. The last pic is just of my Partridge Family LP Record

This is wonderful Rose, when they first came on tv they became major stars. Who never heard "I Think I love You" on tv and I loved it too. I never really ever joined a fan club but getting something like these pics of David would have been a score. Great for you and your precious memories !~
At about age 14, 3 friends of mine and I caught an overnight train from our country town and 10 hours later arrived in Sydney (the trained stopped everywhere it possibly could -we talked all night). Armed with David Cassidy tickets we found our way through the city ready to attend his concert. I however got sidetracked and bailed, left my friends to attend without me, and instead wandered off to the art gallery. They seemed to have enjoyed his concert. We then caught the sleeper train home again!
This sounds kinda dumb--but I loved the character in his face. I think I may have had a crush big-time. I wasn't too crazy about the genre of songs that were coming from the Partridge Fam--biut I never missed the show... simple and fun. Oh Gee, I think I would watch re-runs if they came on today. Don't tell anybody. ha ha,.

I loved David Cassidy, it was either David Donny Osmond, and not forgetting Michael Jackson.
I have still got all his LPs somewhere, and probably a book of cuttings etc. Sad isn't it!!
Man, my cousin had a serious crush on they guy! She had his posters all over her room.

@Signaholic - LOL, we all did. DC was so Dreamy back then.....
@Peasejean55 - lol, yes and what about BOBBY SHERMAN, LEIF ERIKSON too. I used to buy those mags with the Teen heart throbs in it. I think was call " Tiger Beat" or something like that.
@Wandlessfairy - Yes be still our ever lasting Love for the Stars from the 1970's. I was kinda afraid posting this as I though OUR OLD TICKERS here might get too excited again..............roflmao
@AdeleC- LOL, Hey I have some of his records to even AFTER the Partridge Family days ...YES, I still have them.
@racer4four - Silly girl....LOL...but I never even would have had that Chance on the farm. Crazy young girls and our hormones, and they know how to sell it to us back then............and still now to the young girls.
@PhilDMorris - Thanks Phil. Yeah they appear to be regular pictures reprints as back then there was not the photo copying to make a photocopy just a pics. So the fan club just must have gotten lots of reprints made etc and sent them to the fans. I can not remember if ther was a charge to join or not...but I think it was Free.
.... @PostCardCollector - Lol, Your SECRET is safe with me. I would NEVER let anyone know that. Mum's the word.......LOL....yeah right !!
