    Very small...Maybe 6 inches across, and so shallow. Handpainted and signed by the young lady. Is this one of those pieces from when women would paint little pieces of porcelain for recreation?

      I think you guessed that right. There was probably a little trinket jar that went with it...something to sit on a vanity. It's pretty!
