Hello everyone,
I was looking into one of my drawers and found these dolls i have collected over the past 10 years. Any information about them would be greatly appreciated.
The first one , and my least favorite i bought 3 years ago, she is articulated with wires connecting her head, hands, legs, made of bisque and has an open mouth and glass eyes but she must be reproduction as when i look inside her open head they have used some white plaster? to glue the eyes and mouth. She is in rather poor condition. no marks, but the painted shoe reminds me of folk dolls some how?
The second doll i purchased from a London market, she has bisque hands, legs and face, her face is quite pretty and looks hand painted. Again am thinking reproduction as theres no marks.
The third doll, again from a London market has bisque hands and hand painted face, she is a musical wind up doll. no marks so again reproduction i would say.
The last doll is plastic at the back of her head she is marked 'chililan (cant quite read it so maybe wrong ) made in england' bought her in London, she is half a doll and her dress has a zip underneath so you can add padding so she can 'sit' on a bed maybe?
Thank you :)
Anyone?
