This beautiful brass baggage tag is from the Central Railroad of NJ. The L&S stands for Lehigh & Susquehanna Railroad, a line that connected with the CNJ at White Haven, PA and ran to Wilkes-Barre, PA. The CNJ later leased the L&S as its own in order to access Wilkes-Barre & Scranton.
