This Silveria type vase by Kralik is another post birthday present...purchased on the day, but just arrived this week. It measures 12.5 cm tall, 6 cm across the cut & polished top rim, & 7 cm across the base. With a simple, square form, it has a clear lining with an outer layer of pearlescent white with pink threads & green flecks. Love the texture on this piece, & really thrilled to have an example of this glass!
Very!.. very beautiful!....:-)
Many thanks, inky! I feel like this piece has taken my collection up a notch...very exciting to tick something off my glass bucket list!
The pink and the green looks so lovely against that sugary background ...:-)
Absolutely! Pink & green is one of my favourite colour combinations on glass, & the texture give it that extra fabulousness!
Thats just so tactile could imagine lovely lolly pops coming out the top in a scene from Willy Wonka !!!! fab IronLace
Great comment MALKEY, & much appreciated!
Wow - now this is a rare piece - and beautiful!! I have never seen a silveria even close to this shape. Very, very interesting! I do want to mention that there have been a very small number of silveria-type vases that have been attributed to Rindskopf, since they are in Rindskopf shapes. Those particular vases have dark green spots on them, a bit similar to yours. However, the veining is green in those vases. I am not saying yours is Rindskopf at all - I just find it interesting. Love this one! :)

This is so beautiful Lace. The beautiful veining with the red on the textured ground just spectacular. I am envious, and happy for you!
Many thanks, Michelle! Interesting to know it's rare...it was attributed to Stevens & Williams, but I knew it wasn't, as their Silveria is quite different. I do like how the simple square form works with the decor.
Thanks also, racer4four! :-)
It's a beautiful décor. IronLace...... the base particularly looks like something you'd find in the window of a high end patisserie!
Many thanks, sklo42! Yes, it looks good enough to eat! :-)
Thanks also to everyone who's loving it!
