I went by one of my favorite thrift stores today and found this plant stand. After seeing what they were asking online for these stands, I thought the $18 that the thrift store had posted was a good deal. The bottom of this is marked Bartley collection. I'm not sure of the exact age of this pace, but it is a nice decorative piece.
It's really cute.
Woo Hoo!!!!
Look at this:

Thank you Deepseas!!
Efesgirl-thanks. I saw that one-it looks a bit darker than mine. I wonder if they made them in several different woods. Now, I have to find a place for it, and figure what I'll display on it :)
The Bartley Collection, Ltd. (now Bartley Classic Reproductions) was founded in the 70s in Chicago and later moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. They are considered the Rolls Royce of kit furniture, in the past making mostly 18th Century Reproductions in all forms of Queen Anne, Chippendale, Federal, Sheraton and Hepplewhite styles. A Bartley kit includes all parts of a piece, pre-cut, and includes hardware, screws, dowels, brasses etc. Everything is included except Finishes. You did the finish yourself, so that is why one is dark and the other light.
Phil, thanks for that info. I did not know anything about the company. That is interesting. Thanks
Czechglass-thank you!!
