Update: FYI, I gave this to my dentist!!! LOL!!! He's got it at the window when you sign in now!
I just realized how badly I need to take these photos over. I'll try to replace them as soon as I'm done.
This is a black walrus figurine made and signed by John Perry 81. There were other animal figurines in glass where I was but I figured since I have made too many mistakes already and even tho they weren't at a large cost, I decided to steer clear of glass today. Come to find out, I did better than I thought as you will see in my next post!
I especially liked this guy because he's so different. John Perry is an active artist and everything I have seen of his are all on a nicely shaped hand carved piece of wood. This guy sits alone and he's got some big teeth there. I do believe these are actual bone too. So because I love to have the 'unusual', he got chosen. Neither glass, ceramic or wood this time but a heavy resin piece.
Oh wow, I just realized I have the perfect rock outside in the yard he will look so good on...I'll get it tomorrow and see if it fits like I think it will and take the photo then!
