This Victorian glass bowl is made from clear glass covered with very fine, ruby machine threading. It has an applied rigaree in uranium yellow glass & applied crest also in uranium yellow. The bowl measures 7.5 cm tall, 14 cm across the crimped top rim, & 6.8 cm across the base, which has a neatly polished pontil mark. I feel quite confident in attributing this to an English manufacturer, perhaps Stevens & Williams. It probably once sat in a silver plated stand.

For me, this is the epitome of English Victorian glass. Couldn't be better.
