7pc. embossed leather coaster set

Found this cute little set at a thrift store, in need of cleanup and a bit of re-gluing of the outer leather on the holder. With that done, its a fun set of 6 multi-colored and textured double-faced leather coasters in a matching holder. Only two of the brown coasters are the same color, the others are a different brown, black, dark red, and hot pink. (?!) The embossed patterns also vary amongst the different colors. The coasters themselves are 4" square.

Totally guessing its mid-century, but just a guess. There are no markings or labels on it to suggest who made it when, nor where it came from. If anybody has better info about it, please let us all know!
