My mother-in-law purchased this Handel lamp from a 90-year-old man at a yard sale in the early 60s. Don't know what she paid but I'm certain it was far under today's value. I replaced the fraying wiring about 10 years ago with a modern cord/plug for safety. It's in our house now. Maybe I'll eventually restore it with a vintage style cord/plug.
